Jai Shree Krishna
During Nav Villas a different colour is worn on each day. Could a vaishnav please kindly explain the reasons and bhav behind each colour?
I would like to Thank You in advance

Jai Shree Krishna
Sitalji, the Nav-Villas is a manorath of Nine Sakhis, who really had special manorath and wanted all her close sakhis to take part in it. She also wanted Svaminiji to be the presider over the manorath. To distinguish the bhava of the sakhi, every sakhi decided on a colour attire for the day. Hense, we have nine days and each day becomes a day of manorath of that sakhi, and colour was chosen for the dressing up attire.
The colour attire was chosen on the followings points:
The Manorath Bhava
The Dance sequence chosen for the that day Villas
The Samagree and Mood settings of the day
The Venue and its settings
The day of the week.
So nine days Villas had nine Sakhis and nine colours. _________________ Dasa nu das

Jai Shree Krishna,
Thankyou Pusthidasji for your answer, could you please expand on the 5 points and relate it to one of the Sakhi's. I realise that there is a lot of gudbhav in this but please reveal a little

Jai Shree krishna
Sitalji you are not asking much, just gudh bhava. Really our regular friday satsang has spoilt you, always deamanding the best, why not? Well you are sevak of Shree Krishna, who is the best, you His devotees will demand the best. Here is for you and you only, well if other silent readers would like to imbibe in this, then they are well come.
1. Manorath Bhava
The colour of Nav-Villas was attached to the colourful Manorath Of Sakhi for that Villas. The Nav-Villas is co-incided with Nav-Ratri Garba. So all the vaishnavs celebrate Nav-Villas and bring Yamna Maiya as the centre point in the Villas. But in fact, the Mukhiya Sakhi is Shree Svaminiji, and somehow on Bhutal Shree Hariraiji Prabhu charan, when writing on Nav-Villas, suggested that Shree Yamnaji should be the presider over the villas and since that vachnamrut, all Vaishnavs do Shree Yamna Maiyas Garba or Nav-Villas.
This Manorath of Nav-Villas was instigated by Shree Svaminiji. She wanted to thank all her Sakhis who had made her meetings (Milan) with Shree Thakorji easy and were some how more happy to help whenever it was asked or needed.
Svaminiji asked Krishna to fulfil nine Sakhis who had been close to Her and wanted these Sakhi to imbibe into Villas that will fulfil all their manorath. This was really a mini version of Maharaas, but in this version the Sakhi of the day called the shot, that is she set up the Manorath, venue, colour of the day etc. In Maharaas, Krishna was the controller.
In next posting I will discuss the setting of the Manorath. _________________ Dasa nu das

Meaning:
The complete utility of Anand, happiness is Shree Krishna, the king of Shree Vraj and leader of happy medium is son of Nandraiji, who really counts himself the lucky father, has taken his bode in Vraj. Shree Krishna is the lover and husband of top most of all rasikjana, the gopis, please let me use my eyes to see you and your rasa svaha leela, give me pragat darshan, glory to your beautiful face. The aroma that entices us (gopis) flows from your expresses and the contour of your face ricks with "anushka" perfume which only diffuses by Lotus flowers, oh that lovely, beautiful but most enchanting face is the resident of those eyes that scorch us into imbibing into alokik lust (kamagni) of fire. Please let me imbibe into those eyes of yours and infuse my completeness, body, soul and mind and set my manorath to that ras, the ras of nectar.
This is the first Gopi who said to Shree Krishna on the first Villas. The Villas theme was the Madhur natra (beautiful eyes) of Shree Krishna and the rose-petal-lips of most lustful alokik nectar. This was the first setting of the Manorath and it was also the ruler, measurement by which most other bhava were followed in the villas.
So to match such a colourful bhava, the colour of the villas (first day) was picked. _________________ Dasa nu das

Jai Shree Krishna
I have really read all his (Pushtidas') notes on Nav-Villas, he started to write about it on Pushtikul but he received Emails from some vaishnavs that he must not reveal all gudh bhava on Nav-villas so he stopped the subject on that Site. It is their loss, and with the grace of Shree hariraiji, lets hope he will repeat the subject in this Tibari.
He has received emails from Dattubhia and many ardent bhavik jano to start this subject, but at this stage there seems to be no response from Pushtidas, lets hope he finishes that subject in here.
The first Villas was good Sunitaji, your english is out of this world, at least better then mine, although the last sentence about open 24/7 etc was difficult to understand, is this some kind of American, New York joke? hhheeeeee, ok baby I laughed, so don't get upset, people are clever to spot a joke. _________________ Jai Shree Krishna

Jai Shree Krishna
This is such a lovely topic - thanku Sitalji for bringing this up and thanku to Pushtidasji for such wonderful explanations....however, I have a question (or two)......who was the Gopi for this first manorath and what colour did this manorath represent? Oh, and why this colour, ie. what did it symbolise?
Thanku in advance to you vallah vaishnvas for your response

Jai Shree Krishna,
I know the first day of the manorath is Chandravaliji's and the colour is red. I suppose the colour red is an indication of intense love but not too sure. Would be grateful if a senior vaishnav could explain this properly?
Thanks
