|
|
Jai Shri Krishna
grateful for any corrections/clarifications in the following:
There are nine main types of vivek in Vivek Dhairya Ashray
Vivek
1. Jagat ma sarvatra sarvarupe Shri Hari j chhe.
- In this entire creation, only Hari is present everywhere and in all forms
2. Shri Hari badhu temani ichha paramane kare chhe.
- Shri Hari does everything with His own divine will
3. Swami ane sevak na sambandh no vichar.
- One should consider the relationship between Swami and Sevak (who is who?)
4. Badhu prabhunu chhe te apava prabhu samarth chhe.
- Everything belongs to Prabhu and He is very capable of giving it.
5. Hu prabhu ne adhin chhu em samaji abhiman chhodavu.
- Understand that I am totally dependent on Prabhu and give up ego/arrogance.
6. Prabhu ni koi vishesh agna thay to tenu palan karavu.
- If Prabhu gives special orders they should be followed.
7. Asamanya prasango ma hathagrah ke duragrah chhodi prasang pramane vivek thi karva jevu karavu.
- In extraordinary circumstances one should give up insistence and behave accordingly with intellect.
8. Bhagvad karya shivay na laukik vedik karyoma duragrah na rakhvo.
- Except for Bhagvad karya (tasks), one should not insist forcefully on tasks related to vedic or materialistic activities.
9. Darek karyo dharma ane adharma no vichar kari karva.
- All activities/actions should be performed by considering righteousness or non-righteousness
Dahirya
– Shri mahaprabhuji samjave chhe ke sauthi pahelu kam man ni
lagani ane indriyo na aaveg upar ankush rakhvanu chhe.
- Shri mahaprabhuji wants us to understand that the very first thing to do is to stop the attractions of the mind and the desires of senses.
- Shri mahaprabhuji samjave chhe ke sukh ni pachal pagal thai dodvu
nahi.
- Shri mahaprabhuji wants us to understand that one should not go mad and run after happiness.
- Lagani ane avego ni yatna sahan karavi te dhairya. Saiyam niyam nu palan karta sahan shakti viksavvi. Sahan shakti te dhairya.
- Dhairya is tolerating the pain/suffering of attractions and desires, cultivate whilst observing discipline.
- Dukho sahan karva ni shakti, bhagvan no ashray ane bhagvan mateno samrpan bhav ape chhe.
- One gets the strength to tolerate difficulties from taking shelter in God and from one's firm conviction in total surrender in God.
- Dahirya dradh karva vani, sharir ane man na bhogo chhodva. Indriyo,
sharir ane man prabhu ma jodva thi apo aap kabu ma avi jay chhe.
- Give up desires of the speech, body and mind to make patience/tolerance firm. By occupying senses, body and mind in God the body and mind automatically come in control.
Ashray
- jiv ne prabhu no ashray prabhu krupa thi male. Ashray etle
prabu no adhar levo. Ane das bhav thi seva karvi.
- A jeev gets Shelter in God by God's grace. Shelter means taking support of God and to perform service of God as a servant.
Emkarva thi ashray sidh thay chhe. Bhagvan no ashray rakhi tenu nam sharan. Sarvatha sharanam hari ane sarvarthe sharanam hari rattan karvu.
- By doing this the shelter becomes firm. Keeping shelter in God, in God's name, keep reciting Sarvatha Sharanam Hari and Sarvarthe Sharanam Hari.
- vaishnave thakorji shivay bija koi nu sevan pan na karvu. Bija pase kashu magvu nahi.
- Vaishnav should not perform seva/worship of anyone else except Thakorji. Should not ask anything from anyone else. _________________ Best Wishes
