Jai Shri Krishna, Jai Jai Shri Gokulesh

Yes difinitely Bhakti is great and good example by Shri Mahaprabhuji is given to Shri Purshottam Joshi who once enquired which is great Path of Action (Karma Marg) or Path of knowledge(Gyan Marg) and Shri Mahaprabhuji told him that both are good but the best of all is Path of Bhakti.

By doing Bhakti one can be blessed but by following Karma Marg or Gyan Marg one can lead to accomplishments.

Jai Shri Krishna

Recently I heard in a vachanamrut that Shri Thakorji's left foot represents ShriSwaminiji / ShriMahaprabhuji. This foot denotes pushti (krupa). So the first touch is request. Shri Thakorji accepts anything in Pushtimarg by ShriVallabh's kani so even charan sparsh should be done by His kaani. Then we touch the right foot of Shri Thakorji Himself (bliss) and then again left foot to be able to remain in pushti. JJShri also said this indicated dradh aashray. I believe this also answers your fourth question about sequence.

I think doing charan sparsh by both hands is as per shastra riti. Our Pushtimarg is Vaidic marg and so we find many shashtrokat (things as per Shastra) ways in it.

Jai jai shri gokulesh Jai shri krishna,

Vasantji, Gopalbhai... First of all let me apologize for not being in touch with Krishnaseva for such a long time but trust me i keep updating myself with the topics discussed here and enjoy it thoroughly.

Today i came across with 1 of the reply given by Vasantji n couldn't stop myself coz i too had read the same thing but some ardent vaishnav corrected me and i wish to share the same here...

Well, like you said the left charan is Bhakti and the right chran is MUKTI, but that is the mariyada concept, in Pushtimarg, the right Charan is Sharanagati, that is a surrender to shree Krishna.

And by doing charansparsh this way we are saying Prabhu give me Bhakti and I surrender to thyself (to Thakorji) and give me Dasanudas Bhakti as well.

So, left charan first sparsh means please give me Bhakti and then sparsh on right charan means I have surrendered everything at your lotus feet so give me...here we again touch the left foot and say...so give me the bhakti with dasanudas (Vaishnava seva bhakti) bhakti as well.

I'm enjoying the divine flow... please continue...

Jai ShrKrishna,

It's after quite a long gap I am again interacting with the topic I had raised on Charansparsh. Shri Mahaprabhuji's Lotus Feet have in total 15 divine symbols.

Each symbol has it's own meaning. I will try to list down all the 15 symbols and then the forum will participate in the discussion of the symbols in a serial manner.

The right lotus foot of Shri Mahaprabhuji has 8 symbols:
Represents SHARANAGATI

1. KAMAL (LOTUS)
2. VAJRA (English word?)
3. GADA (MACE?)
4. PATAKA (English word?)
5. TORAN
6. SUKKHADVALLI (English word)
7. DHANUSH (BOW)

The left lotus foot of Shri Mahaprabhuji has 7 symbols:
Represents BHAKTI

1. DHWAJ (FLAG)
2. ANKUSH (English word?)
3. MINH (Fish)
4. SUDARSHAN CHAKRA
5. ASHTDAL (Octagon)
6. KAMAL (Lotus)
7. KUMBH (Pot)
8. YAV (English word)

Like Unnatji said, charansparsh of Left lotus foot is BHAKTI and Right lotus foot is SHARANAGATI (surrender oneself to Almighty)

Charansparsh of shri Mahaprabhuji and Vallabhkul Balaks is left foot- right foot-left foot.
Please do correct me if I have mentioned a symbol which is not correct.

1. KAMAL

The bhakts soul is cleansed of all sins and sense of Bhakti enters the soul.
In this flow of Bhakti Shri Thakorji also makes his presence in the soul to hear and feel the bhakti of the Bhakta.

2. VAJRA
The wordly desires associated with our body, mind which is indulged in sins, is destroyed by the VAJRA and makes the bhakt fit to come close to Shriji and be accepted by Him.
By all the vices being cleared, the soul is filled with the affection and love.
Hence, by doing Charansparsh of Shri Mahaprabhuji and the Vallabhkul Balaks we now are:
1. cleansed of all sins and sense of Bhakti enters the soul (KAMAL)
2. cleansed of all wordly desires of body and mind (VAJRA)

I hope I am on the right track. Can someone narrate some of the incidences on Kamal and Vajra?

3. GADA

This symbol in the lotus feet of Shri Mahaprabhuji ensures that all those souls which have surrendered themselves do not get wavered or mislead.
Meditating on this symbol one attains the happiness (anand) of Shri Mahaprabhuji's swaroop.
Wherever Shri Mahaprabhuji goes, this symbol gets rid of all the sins of the bhaktas. It destroys the demons with the GADA and hence protects the bhaktas. It also destroys the ego and makes the mind subtle and soft and diverts it to Pushti Bhakti.

Please Jagdishbhai, kindly please give me examples of incidences if possible

Jai shri krishna / Jai Jai Shri Gokulesh..... I may be sligthely out of topic, so please excuse for that..... I have seen Shri Madanmohanjis swarrop in particular pose, that is having flute and the left shri charan which represents bhakti remains straight and right shri charan which is bended covers left shri charan, does this mean prabhu is covering Bhakti with right shri charan.... if yes then why ???. I m sorry but I dont know how to present Qsts properly.... Hope everyone has got what I want to ask.
