Ghanta Naad ki Bhavna

Paache khaasa shudh mrutika (maati) aur jal te haath dhone.
taa paache ghantaa naad karne, Braj me satvik, rajas aur tamasi, teen prakar ki gaay hai. Unke kanth ghantaa bandhe rahat hai. So apne vacchan ko ratri ke bhookhe jaan mastak hilay ke ghanta bajave hai.

So shri Thakurji ko suchan kare hai, jo aap jaagike humko khootan te kholo. Yah Braj ko bhaav...

Nandalay me teen prakar ki Rajasi, Tamasi, Satviki Gopi hai. Ve apne kambu kanth te madhur svar aur baani te Prabhu ko jagave hai.

Rahasya leela me maina, suva, aadi pakshi jo Shri Swaminiji ki nikunj me pijran me hai ve samay jaani bol ke jagave hai. Tamchar ke prasang karijire darpi ke jagave hai. (tamchar ko prasang Ramanand ki varta ke bhaav me hai) So Lalita Vishakha ke kanth ki saman boli ke jagave hai. Madhur svaran te. Ta samay Lalita sakhijan been bajavat hai.

Shankh-naad Ki Bhavna

Rahasya Leela me Rajasi, Taamasi, Saatvi Gopijan teen baar Shankh-naad karat hai. Vaishnavo ke yahaa shankhnaad nahi hoy. Unko adhikaar nahi yaa bhaav ko.

Sakhijan kau dusro bhaav purush kau hu hai, so ashta-sakha, Subal, Shridama aadi, Nandraiji ke yaha jaay ke Shankh bajaay Shri Swaminiji ke Kanth-naad ki surat karaave hai.

Simhaasan Ki Bhavna

Paache haath khasa kar mandir me jaay shaiya bhog ko banta mala, bira, jhari, ye sab bahar laayke prasadi paatra me thalvane. paache mandir me jaay sohini (buhari) karike bhumi par gile vastra phiraay paache suko vastra phiraavno.

Taa paache Simhaasan jhatak kar samarno. Simhaasan mahatmya me akshar brahm kau madhyaakash hai. Nandalay me Shri Yashoda ko godi hai. Aur rahasya bhav me Shri Swaminiji ki godi hai. kati roop simha kau aasan hai., piche ko takiya hrday hai, aas paas ke takiya dono bhuja hai. Nikunj me Shri Swaminiji tei Shri Chandravaliji aur ante Lalitaji pragati hai taate unke bhav roop jaan-no. nandalay me Shri Swaminiji Kumarika ke Madhya-naayak Shri Radha Sah-chari rup te seva ko anubhav karat hai. Taate unke roop bhi jaan ne.

Simhaasan ke Vastra Ki Bhavna

Uttariya vastra roop hai. Simhaasan ke kalash kuch roop hai. (bich ko kalash mastak roop hai), jemini aur ke takiya par mukh-vastra dharno. so lehanga swaroop janno athva achal roop janno.

Mandir Vastra ki Bhaavna

Jal Chirak ke mandir vastra karno so teen prakar ke taap nivrut hoy hai bhakt hriday ke. Rahasya bhaav me adharamrut sinchan hai. Aur shri thakorji ke charan kamal ke kumkum te lalita-adi sakhijan ke taap door hoy hai, seetaltaa hoy hai.

Jhaari ki Bhaavna

Vatsalya bhaav me, Jhaari Shri Yashoda swaroop hai. Jhaari nitya maanjani hai. So deh krutya kari nitya snaan ki bhaavna hai. Paache khaasa ko shudh-pavitra jal bhari ke shri thakorji ke vaam bhaag dharni. Jhaari upar laal vastra dhaapno so Jhaari ki toti shri yashodaji ke stan roop hai. Jhaari roop shri yashoda laal vastra roopi saadi pahari toti roop stan te apne balak ko stan paan karave hai ya prakar ki bhaavna karni. nikunj me shri yamunaji ko bhaav hai mukhya rahasya bhaav me swamini hai. so vaam ang viraje hai.
Saubhagyavati laal vastra Jhaari pe aave. Jhaari kumarika ke bhaav roop bhi hai. Jaake jaiso bhaav hoy vaisi bhaavna kare. Shri Yamunaji ko bhaav sab me jaanno.

Mangal Bhog ki Bhaavna

Mangal bhog dhare taame ek katori me otyo doodh, kesar, baraas, sugandh milyo bhayo, ek katori me dahi, ek me sandhano, ek me malai, ek me makhan, tatha ek me pisi bhai mishri aur ek me baal-bhog ke laddoo aadi nai samagri nitya firti karni. Vaako saaji ke dhaap rakhno.

Shri Thakorji ke Jagaave ki Bhaavna

Shri Acharyaji Mahaprabhu Shri thakorji ke mukharvind swaroop hai. taate jahaa Shri Mahaprabhuji ke padukaji aadi alag na virajte hoy vaha shri thakorji ke mukharvind ke darshan karke shri acharyaji ko smaran karno.
Paache sheetkal hoy to garam kari bhai rajai shri thakorji ko jagaay ke odhavani. Yugal swaroop hoy to simhaasan par dono swaroopan ko ek padhravne aur rajai odhaani. kyo, jo pratah: kaal ko viyog kshan hu sahan na hoy. vaa samay rasoiya ko darshan karavne aur ko mangal bhog ke darshan ko adhikaar nahi.

Mangal Bhog Dharve ki Bhaavna

Mangal bhog dharte samay vatsalya bhaav hriday me rakhno. Vatsalya bhaav me shri thakurji ke aage rakhi bhai chauki (mangal bhog ki) so shri rohiniji ko swaroop. Sona ki katori shri swaminiji ko ras paatra hai. chaandi ko paatra shri chandravaliji ko bhaav. peetal ke paatra me sona ki bhaavna karni aur jasat me chaandani ki. shri yamunaji sab me hai. bado katora shri chandravaliji ko shri hast jaanno. yaa prakar mangal bhog dhari ke shri acharyaji tathaa shri gusaiji aur tadbhaav utpaan apne brahmsambandh daataa guru evam asht-sakha aadi ki kaani deni. unki kaani te aap aroge. paache tera de baahar aano.

Tera ki Bhaavna

Tera hai so maaya roop hai. ek avidya roop, ek vidya roop. avidya roop dharm me man lagaave nahi de., dusri vidya roop bhagvat seva swaroop hai. saamagri dharte samay jo tera karat hai so vidya roop maya hai. samagri swaroopatmak hai. aur vaako bhog bhagvaan karat hai. bhog ekaant vina hoy nahi taate tera aavat hai. so maaya roopi tera te bhakt janan ko manorath siddh hoy hai.

Vatsalya bhaav te tera karive te koi ki dhrishti lage nahi. kumarika ke bhaav me shri swaminiji padhare hai, unke saath shri thakurji ko baal bhaav te shri yashodaji baithaari ke mangal bhog dhare hai va samay rahasya lila ko gupt rakhive ke liye maya roop tera aave hai. yaa bhaavna te mangal bhog dharno.

this is as per my limited understanding...

Kaani is like giving a reference... It is because of Shri Mahaprabhuji's, Shri Gusaiji's reference that Shri Thakorji accepts our seva. Otherwise we don't have the right to perform seva independently.

So we are requesting Shri Thakorji to kindly accept our seva through Shri Mahaprabhuji's and Shri Gusaiji's kaani, as we are Shri Mahaprabhuji's, Shri Gusaiji's daas - so we are trying to follow their agyas and instructions when performing seva... and where possible/acceptable, we don't create our own rules/methods (only seva krutir guru agya), etc when performing seva...

In pushtimarg we worship yamunaji as chaturth priya of thakurji then why radhaji is worshiped in yugal swaroop seva.

Shri Radhaji is the mukhya swaminiji so in yugal swaroop seva she is the main ...

for this we need to first understand what is "chaturth priya" ?

in this context, chaturth is 4th - so 4th in what way ?

1) Satvik
2) Rajas
3) Tamas
4) Nirgun (this is the 4th) - She is the mukhiya of the nirgun group of jeevs..

we worship Shri Yamunaji as per Shri Mahaprabhuji's instructions in Shri Yamunashtak - besides being capable of bestowing the jeev with other fine qualities, She is the bestower of love towards Shri Thakorji... "Mukund rati vardhini" and is capable of changing the jeevs (and Shri Thakorji's) svabhaav....(Svabhav vijiyo bhavet)

Yes quite right. Each swaminiji is a mukhiya/leader of that particular (sattvik, rajas, tamas, nirgun) group/yuth of gopis/devotees...

However just to clarify (or confuse) further...

In nitya lila everyone is nirgun, but they serve/entertain Thakorji with that specific predominant bhaav to perform the required lilas...

The following gives a basic understanding of various bhaavs and colours

Kesri, Champa, yellow - satvik, mukhya Swaminiji, Radhaji's bhava

red, pink - rajas, Chandravaliji's bhava

green - tamas, Radha sahacheri, kumarika's bhava

blue, purple - nirguna, Yamunaji's bhava.

Gopi Geet and nature (types) of Gopis

There are 19 different types of Gopis who took part in singing the Gopi-Geet.

Shruty-rupa Gopis were of nine characters and so were Rushi-rupa-Gopis. The divisions in Maharaas was set according to their swabhava (essential nature) and the swabhava is created from Prakruti (nature). Prakruti is made of three qualities, Satvik (goodness), Rajas (activity) and Tamas (inactivity). In every quality we have further three sub-qualities, so a total of nine qualities.

So all individual Gopis with their individual but unique qualities, surrender to Krishna and wins His heart, and these sagun (good qualities) is then converted by Krishna into Nirguna nature (the duality of qualities disappear).

In the eleventh chapter of Shreemad Bhagvatam, Shree Krishna when speaking to Udhav (His close friend & His minister) explained the different qualities, the characters of His followers, are when surrendered to Him, gains in depth access inside Him “Anything that penetrates into me via total surrender will be automatically converted into ultimate form of Nirguna”.

So it does not matter what swabhava (quality) the Gopis or devotees have, once they cross certain boundary of surrender, they gain the best character suitable for reaching Him (His lilas).


The nine different types of Gopis (per Sri Vallabhacharya’s Subhodini) are:

1. Satvik Rajas
2. Satvik Tamas
3. Satvik Satvik
4. Tamas Rajas
5. Tamas Tamas
6. Tamas Satvik
7. Rajas Rajas
8. Rajas Tamas
9. Rajas Satvik

You are talking about 19 gopis of maharaas. Radhaji and yamunaji was incuded in maharaas???

I know that we worship yamunaji because of shri mahaprabhuji's agya.So Yamunaji is supreme for us. Still in seva of yugal swaroop we do seva of radhaji . Once supreme feeling for yamunaji and then radhji?? It is the problem of bhaav that is confusing me?

using the example of Maharas, i am only trying to show the differentiation between the bhaavs (sattvik rajas tamas nirgun).. and Maharas cannot happen without Radhaji and Yamunaji

There is no difference between Radhaji and Yamunaji and they are both equally supreme - they both appeared directly from Shri Thakorji

- Radhaji is Mukhya Swaminiji, She is the anand/alhadini shakti of Shri Thakorji so she plays the role of the leader in thakorjis lilas ...

- Shri Yamunaji is krupa shakti of Shri Thakorji, and She is worshipped as per Shri Mahaprabhuji's agya (for the sake of basic understanding) because she bestows direct krupa on the jeev so the jeev can develop love for thakorji (as per the 8 siddhis/aishwaryas given in yamunashtakam).

Shri mahaprabhuji himself is swarup of shri swaminiji...
So also we can indirectly say that shri swaminiji only has given agya to praise shri yamunaji...
There is no difference between any of the mukhya swaminijis of 4 yuths.. as all appeared from shri radhaji... to serve lord krishna in different forms...

This is clearly stated in... one of the kirtan...

"Chausath kala praveen, tadapi bhori..."

Chausath means 64.
Each mukhya swaminiji has 16 divine qualities... ( solah kala )
And 16 x 4 = 64

So shri swaminiji ( shri radhaji ) has all the 64 kalas in herself but still she is very bhori... innocent. ..

Just as there is no difference between shri mahaprabhuji and shri thakurji...
We should also not consider any differences between the mukhya swaminiji of any group...

This is as per my limited understanding. .. please feel free for any corrections. ..
