Jai Shri Krishna,
Inaxibhen you did good but not to the full mark of qualifing for a gift as you did not complete the answer.
I am sorry so dont be dissapointed but better luck next year ok.Anyway the song was good and pleasing.
These were the words in vraj bahsa Shri Mahaprabhuji told Krishnadas
Shri Mahprabhuji Sandya-vandan kari ke yeh vachan Krishnadas so kahe,
Jo Brahmin hoe ke Shudra ki tahal karno uchit nahi hai,
Sudra, Brahmin ke tahal kare to deek hae.
Aiso Shri Bhagwad me Kahyo hai !
In simple english What Shri Mahaprabhuji said was brahmin should not work for a sudra, but Sudra can work for a Brahmin as prescribed in Shrimad Bhagwad. _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Jai Shri Krishna,
This is long pending and since the clue did not work will give the answer and for sure like I said we all will realise this varta was read by all of us numerous times.
Ishwar Duve was a very sincere follower of Shri Mahaprabhuji, but was working as a cook in the house of a Kayasth.
Once , he was taking a bath at Rajghat in Agra. At that time, Acharyaji was offering prayers to Shrinathji. He saw Duve and said to Krishnadas. "It is not proper for a Brahmin to serve a Shudra"
Duve heard these words. He went to Him and said, "Maharaj, you are right but I have to serve a Shudra to maintain myself. I am illiterate; I do not know anything but to cook. Please tell me what I should do?
Mahaprabhuji said, "You are also right in your way. But I know for certain that it is God who maintains all. Only, we must have faith in Him."
Mahaprabhuji's words impressed him and he became His follower.
Balance one can read in the Varta in Braj bhasa it is really an inspiring story. He went to Shri Gusainji spoke about the incident and bacame a cook to serve Shrinathji the work that was done by Uttamshlokdas and they became friends. etc etc.
He even got a boon from Shri Gusainji hope you all know that. _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Jai Jai ShriGokulesh
Yes, UttamSlokdas was a very diin bhaav vaishnava. After comming into the shelter of ShriMahaprabhuji, he used to do rasoi. and whenever the other vaishnavas used to come to take prasad, Uttamslokdas used to give more Ghee from own money. SO once a vaishnava said to ShriGusaijibava, that Krupanath, Uttamslokdas used to do like this....So ShriGusaijibava asked that Uttamslokdas why u do so? Uttamslokdas very blissfully gave answer, Krupanath, these all sevaks work hard and had to climb many times a day ShriGirirajji, and they feel tired. So if they eat properly, they can do seva properly And shrinathjibava will not feel shram. So i do it. Listening this ShriGusaiji kept smiling and said nothing to him. _________________ Jai Jai ShriGokulesh Parivaar,

Jai Jai Shri Gokulesh,
Yes Gopalbhai, but you forgot to add the boon he asked and it was
"If you (Shri Gusainji) are pleased with me then give me this boon,"
"So that I may never be displeased with You. "
All who heard were surprised that, what a boon did he ask thinking him to be only a mere servant as a cook so why should one bother if he is pleased or displeased ?
So how did Ishwar Dube reply all ????? _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Jai Shri Krishna,
Here is the answer -------
This is worth understanding the words of Mahan Bhagwadia
Shri Duve said "At present , Shri Gusainji is pleased with me. But I am a very ordinary jeev. So it is possible for me to commit a fault in preparing the Samagiris or in serving Mahaprasad. Under such circumstances Shri Gusainj has every right to get angry and scold me. At that time, what I want is that my feeling of love, respect and devotion for Him should not be polluted.
What I have asked for is this
I should not be displeased with him even when he is displeased with me and got angry at my faults.
Shri Gusainji then Himself confirmed " You can see the greatness of this soul"
What he has asked for is the best boon one can ever ask for. His mind shall never be polluted and he shall for ever remain a very devoted sevak of Shri Nathaji. _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

I am little confused here. I am sure this may not be holding any literal meaning. There could be some thing more into it that I am failing to understand. And if it literally means that Brahmin should not serve Shudra than is it not a discrimination? Kindly clarify......

Jai Shree Krishna,
Prashantji, in regards to this question I can only assume that it was a rule applicable to past times. As you may very well be aware that within Hindu dharma there is a hierachy. This hierachy valued the Brahim caste because they were knowledgable and educated, unlike many of the illiterate people of that time. There were social and caste rules and thus it would have been improper for a Brahim to serve another lower caste.
And yes I suppose it was social discrimination but it was also very much practcical for that time. It was a valueing society in that people had respect for others achievements and social positions. Not to say that people in power didnt abuse these positions, because they did! _________________ Prem Bandhan Ajab Gajab, Brahmaganth sami aa ganth, na tutai na chutai
