Jai Shri Krishna

Khoob Hardik Badhais (Belated) for Thakurani Treej.

Courtesy: PPG 108 Shri Darshankumarji

This celebration happens during the time of Hindola by Shri Swaminiji and Shri Yamunaji in honour of Shriji at their abode (Nikunj). The Lord presided in their abode (Nikunj) thereby fulfilling all their Manoraths. The Lord along with Shri Swaminji ( Shri Thakuraniji ) presided over the Hindola. On this very Banks of Thakurani Ghat both Shri Thakurji and Shri Yamunaji swing in the Hindola.

To give darshan as Yugal Jodi is the manorath of Shri Yamunaji. When Shri Vallabh first set his holy feet at Shrimad Gokul he was standing at the banks of Shri Thakurani Ghats and was wondering as to which is Thakurani Ghat and which is Govind Ghat at that Time Shri Yamunaji appeared and told Shri Vallabh that to his right is Shri Thakurani Ghat and to his left is Govind Ghat at that time Shri Vallabh sang Yamunashtak as to praise Shri Yamunaji- Namami Yamuna Maham.

That is also why Shri Yamunaji is called Param udaar as she couldn't see Shri Vallabh in dilemma and immediately graced with her presence.

From Pushti Navneet:

Thakarani Ghat per Thakrani Treej na divshe Yugal Swaroop Shree Yamunaji na bhav thi hindole jule chhe, laal chundi no saaj ane vastra dharay chhe tran vaar Jule.... aama tran bhavna chhe

(1) Nadalay ma kaancha na hindole

(2) Bhitar ma Sakhi jano na bhaav thi surang na hindole jule chhe

(3) Shree Yamunaji ma nikunj ma Yugal Swaroop Phool na hindole jule chhe

English version:
On the day of Thakarani Teej (tomorrow), on the banks of Shri yamunaji, called Thakarani Ghat, on shri yamunaji, the divine couple (Thakorji and Swaminiji) swing on the hindolas.
...there are 3 sentiments of this swinging...
1 in nandalay (baal Krishna's house) the hindola is decorated with a variety of patterns made from glass.
2. Indoors the sentiments are those if His and Her sakhis and the hindola is decorated with beautiful colours
3 in Shri Yamunajis nikunj the hindola is decorated with flowers...
