Jai Shree Krishna,
well after some thought, a little help from Inaxiji and a sneeky peak at Pushtidasji's note book the answer is Nandabava. Thakorji (krishna's) father. Krishna explains that the Yagna should be for Giriraj and not for Indra. Yes Indra provides the rains but it is Giriraj that provides shelter and food so Krishna tells his father and others in the community that the Yagna should be for Giriraj. So the Vrajvasi's did Giriraj's seva because it is Giriraj that provides milk and shelter for their cows. Nandabava as instructed by Krishna did the first Parikram and others followed. Pleas Vaishnavs feel free to add and correct any mistakes...
Very Happy

Jai Shree Krishna

Palnaji and Sitalji, thank you for your contribution. Yes the first parikramma was done by Nandbaba, with all Vraj Bhaktos. The Prikramma was done on Diwali and yes Sitalji and Palnaji, Krishna was with them. He walked for few kilometers and got tiered so Nandbab carried him and then various Gope picked him up. Can you imagine this trilok Nath getting tiered in doing Goverdhan Parikramma? He plays very interesting games, does He not?

On Bhutal, who was the father of Shree Goverdhan Parvat?

I think the father of Shree Govardhan parvat was Dhrona (sorry if I have spelt it wrong).

Don't know who the mother was.

Jai jai shri gokulesh

About Govardhan Parvath - Appearance

Lord Krishna father Nanda Maharaja once inquired from his brother Upananda how Govardhana Hill had appeared in the sacred land of Vrindavana. Upananda replied that King Pandu, father of the Pandavas, had asked this very question to Grandfather Bhisma, who had narrated the following story from the Garga Samhita.

One day in Goloka Vrindavana Lord Krishna informed Srimati Radharani that She should now appear on earth as it was time for Them to perform Their transcendental pastimes within the material world. Radharani replied that unless Vraja Dhama, the Yamuna and Govardhana Hill were present there, She would not be very happy. Krishna then told Radharani that She need not worry, as Vraja Dhama, along with the Yamuna and Govardhana Hill had already appeared on earth.

Many years before this incident, in the land of Salmali dvipa, the wife of the great mountain Oronacal gave birth to a son named Govardhana. At the time of Govardhana's birth all the demigods appeared in the sky. and showered flowers upon him. The great mountains, led by the Himalayas and Sumeru, came there to offer their respects. They then performed parikrama of Govardhana and accepted him as their king. They offered very nice prayers praising Govardhana for having descended from Goloka Vrndavana, describing him as the "crown jewel of Vraja."

Some years later, at the beginning of Satya-yuga, the great sage Pulastya Muni paid a visit to Salmali dvipa.

Upon seeing the beautiful Govardhana Hill covered with many lovely creepers, flowers, rivers, caves and chirping birds, the sage felt that this hill was capable of giving liberation. He then went to meet Oronacal, who immediately offered his respects and inquired from the sage what service he could render. Pulastya Muni informed Oronacal that he was from Kalii (Benares) and was on pilgrimage to arl the holy places. And he said that even though the sacred river Ganges flows through Kalii, there is no beautiful hill. He then asked Oronacal to give Govardhana to him so that he could perform his austerities sitting on top of the hill.

On hearing the sage's request, Oronacal, who was not willing to part with his son, started to shed tears in thought of separation from his beloved Govardhana. Not wanting to see Pulastya Muni become angry and curse his father, Govardhana asked the sage how he would carry him all the way to Kalil. The sage replied that he would carry him in his right hand. Govardhana then agreed to go with the sage on one condition - that if the sage put him down anywhere during the course of the journey, he would not be able to lift him again. Pulastya. Muni agreed. Carrying Govardhana in his right hand he left for Kasi

By the will of providence Pulastya Muni passed through Vraja on his way to Kasi. On arriving in Vraja, Govardhana thought that now he was here he should remain in the holy dhama. By his mystic power he was able to influence Pulastya Muni to attend to the call ofnature. Unmindful, the sage put Govardhana down and went off to answer the call. But when he returned he was unable to again lift Govardhana. Trying with all his might, using both hands, he could not lift

Govardhana even slightly. In great anger Pulastya Muni cursed Govardhana to sink into the ground by the measurement of one mustard seed every day. When Govardhana first came to Vraja in the beginning of Satya-yuga, he was eightyojanas long (64 miles); five yojanas wide (40 miles} and two yojanas high (16 miles). It is said that after ten thousand years of the Kali-yuga, Govardhana will have completely disappeared.

After narrating the wonderful story of Govardhana's appearance, Sunanda informed Nanda Maharaja that as long as Govardhana Hill and the river Yamuna remained manifest, Kali-yuga would not take its full effect. Sunanda also said that anyone who is fortunate enough to hear the description of the appearance of Govardhana Hill would be freed from all sins.

Jai Shree Krishna

Well done Unnatji, very good narration and presentation of lovely story of Shree Goverdhan pragatiya.

In Kunj, Shree Thakorji produced Shree Goverdhan Parvat from his "Nirodha-leela Shree Anga".

The name of Shree Goverdhan's mother is only found in one pustak, a very old copy of Garga Sahinta by Shree Naradmuni ji, who first revealed the pragatiya of Goverdhan ji in Kunj. Here his mums name is said to be Goverangni and some pronounce and Gaurangi.

In Sarasvat Kalpa, in the Island of Shalmali (Shalmali Dvippa) there was a mountain called Dronachal Parvat. On this mountain lived the father of Shree Goverdhan Parvat with his family. He had three children. First child's name was Goverdhan Parvat, second was Kadam Giri Parvat also known as Kanta Nath and the third was Charnat (also known as Chunaar). The Mountain Dronachal is also known as Oronacal (pronounced as Oronakal), so both are same person. The real name of Goverdhan's father is Dronachal.

Now, why Shree Goverdhan Parvat is also known as Shree Harivariya?

Jai jai shri gokulesh

why Shree Goverdhan Parvat is also known as Shree Harivariya?

Some devotees worship Govardhana-sila as the best devotee of Krsna because Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami has referred to Govardhana as 'hari-dasa-varya.' These devotees take it that because Srimati Radharani is actually the best devotee of Krsna therefore Govardhana is Radharani and they worship Govardhana-sila as 'Girirani' and not as Giriraja - thus they do not offer Tulasi leaves to Govardhana.

please correct me if i am wrong.

The Swaroop of Shree girarj Parvat:

Shree Goverdhan Parvat is "Hari-das-varya ardent disciple, vaishnav.Mahaprabhuji describes five swaroop of Goverdhan parvat.
    1. Gaur Bhujang Swaroop (Hugely large but fair swaroop)
    2. Gaya Swaroop (The form of Cow)
    3. Gwala Swaroop (Cow-boy (gope), Vraj Gope form)
    4. Sinha Swaroop (Form of Lion)
    5. Sthul Swarrop (Present Mountain Form)

There are three sikhar (summit), they are:
    1. Adi Sikahr
    2. Madhya Sikhar
    3. Braham Sikhar

From Radhakund to Daanghati is Adi Sikhar, from Goverdhan to Surbhikund is Madhya Sikhar and from Surbhikund to Apasarakund is Brahama Sikhar.

During Krishna-Avtaar, era, Krishna played (krida kari) on Adi Sikahr, and Legend depicted that at present in Kaliyug, He plays on Madhiya Sikhar and then, after present era, in a transition era, He will be playing on Brahma Sikhar.

When describing Shree Goverdhan Parvat, Shree Gopaldasji in Vallabhakhiyan said:

Padmarag markat Mani Sfatic, Goverdhan Sohai,
Brahma rudra tiya kaun bapda, Shree harinu mana mohai,
Nana Pakshi na sabda madhuri, Shobha tano nahi paar,
Vividh Prakarai jujavan kaheta, granth thai vistaar

Meaning:

Shree Girirajji body becomes soft when Shree Krishna walks on the summits, and as the mountain becomes as soft as cream, Shree Krishna's footprints (Padmaraag) imprinted on the summit, hence, the word padmaraag, Markat mani sfatic, means the summit shines like a mountain covered with shining (murkat), mani (diamonds) and sfatic (jewels). Brahmaji, rudra (saints and disciples) and kaun bapda (many others), meditate to entice the attention of Shree Hari.

Nana (tiny) pakshi na (of birds) sabda (singing words of praise)madhuriya (with enchanting rytham), Shobha tano nahi paar (there are no words to describe the beauty of this Mountain).

Vividh prakaare jujuva kaheta (to describe many other beautiful quality of this Goverdhan Parvat, I (Gopaldas) need to write a whole book (granth), and even then will not be able to do justice to its vibrant beauty.

Jai Shree Krishna

I am back vahala Vaishnavs. Miss me? Nay...I don't think you have ! Did you? Really?!

In Nitya-leela shree Girirajji swaroop has been sectionalised in three parts. 1.Adhidevik,2.Adhiyatmik and the third one is Adhibhautik. In Nitya-leela, His swaroop is known as Adhidevik, this was in Sarasvat kalp when Indra Raja's koop was defuncted. Then remember prior to Indrabhang Leela, Shree Krishna took the form of Shree Goverdhan Nathji, and I said that I am Parvat. He created a huge form of Goverdhan nathji with one thousand hand (Hazaar Bhuja) and excepted anakut bhojan from Varj Bhakta. This is Adhidevik swaroop.

The second swaroop is of Bhagvad Bhakta. Shree Girirajji is known as Bhagvat Bhakta Shiromani and because of this title He is also known as "Hari-das-Variya". This swaroop also present in front of Shree hari and do seva, he has created nikunj for Krishna when He comes with his beloved cow-herds. He also instigated Pulindijis (the local forest women who lived in the alleys and bottom of the mountain in Jungle) to bring fal-ful (fruit, flowers) and food for Krishna. This way he did Mukharving seva of Thakorji. Inside his Giri kandra (caves) Girirajji depicted six seasons to suit the raman (the games) of Shree Krishna and for Vihar (love-enticing and meetings) with Shree Radharaniji, he created Nikunj (lovely greeery and Royal gardens).

Shree Chaturbhujdasji in his "Khata Rutu ni Varta" has described the term "Hari-das-varya". It is beautiful sonnet, worth casting ones eyes on it, at least once. He not only gives his reasons why Girirajji is called Hari-das-varya, he also described Him when he was twelve years old. Chatubhujdasji said that Shree Girirajji is 12 yrs old child. He is shyam (dark complection). He has worn red dhoti, red uparno and wears red coloured turban (pagha). In his soft but strong mascular hand, He holds a red Chaddi (walking stick). This is Adhiyatmik swaroop.

The third one is of Girirajji as we see, as vaishnavs sees him, does his darshan, parikramma and he in returns bestows darshan as cow, lion, vraj gope or also as naag (cobra-snake).
