Jai Shri Krishna,
Vasant Bhai, you are correct. I copied it from my old nitya niyam file which was in english.
That verse being written by Shri Gusaiji is addressing Shri Gopinathji. But as Shamu Bawa mentioned in one pravachan in a loose sense we can take Vallabhnandhan as both Shri Gopinathji/Shri Gusaiji.

Palnaji, going back to your question as to why we do Manglacharan. Well, Mangla means auspicious, which is done on a nice religious occasion which depictes the imbibe action to enhance special events, for an example, when you buy your first car, or house, may be celebration of a birthday.

Jai Shri KRishna,
Thanks for understanding Manishbhai,

andhasya = a blind person's.
Gyan = knowledge
anjan = eye-salve
shalakaya = a fine rod
Chakshu = eyes
unmilitam = opens
yen = by whom
tasmai = that
Shri Gurve = to Shri Gurudev, devine priest
Namah = I bow respectfully.
Translation
Those whose eyes have been shut by the darkness of ignorance, He applies knowledge as an eye-salve with a fine rod, which will make them open their eyes. I bow in homage to that Divine Priest (Gurudev). _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Jai Shri Krishna,
Will do shlok 4 today
Namani hridaye sheshe leelakshirabdhi shayinam
Lakshmi-sahasra leelabhi sevyamanam kalanidhim.
Namami = I am bowing
hridaye = in the heart
sheshe = on the top of sheshnag
leelakshirabdhi = leela + kshir + abdhi + in the playgound of kshir-sagar.
shayinam = sleeping comfortably.
Lakshmi-sahasra-leelabhi = by a thousand Laxmis in God's leela
sevyamanam = worshipped
kalanidhim = a form of treasure of artistic skills (to Shri Krishna).
Meaning
In kshirsagar, Lord Narayan sleeps happily and comfortably on the bed like chest of Sheshnag.
In the same way, the sea of Shri Krishna's leela's rise in my heart. In that sea, like a thousand Laxmi's the gopis are serving that form of a treasure-house of artistic skills- Shri Krishna.
I am bowing to that same Shri Krishna. _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Jai Shree Krishna,
Thankyou Vasantji, with these translations it helps us to understand why we actually recite the Manglacharan and the meaning behind it.

Jay Shree Krishna
I would just like to say a very big 'Thanku' to all the vaishnavs for enligtening us with the meaning of manglacharan - it was very nicely explained and simplified for a learner like myself! Now atleast when I'm sitting in Pushtidasji's satsung, I can sing it with all the vaishnavs (which by the way, is sung so beautifully) as well as understand the meaning!
