Jai Shree Krishna to all the lovely vaishnavs.
Jagdishji thank you for the lovely replies to my questions. Apologies for taking this long to reply.
I was wondering if we can create a some talking points of the Bhagwad Gita. Seen as this is such a vast area and with my little knowledge of it I would be grateful if someone can point out what parts of the Gita are most relevant to Pushtimarg and possible go more in depth with the points? Which points did Mahprabhuji draw from this?
Thanks in advance. _________________ Jai Shree Krishna |

Jai Shri Krishna,
Hoshilji, no need for apologies or thank yous. We hope these comments, etc are helpful.
Regarding your query about summarising parts of Gitaji in points...
I am in no position to say anything specific but would like to comment as follows and hope others will contribute further.
From personal understanding at a very limited level, i believe, Mahaprabhuji has touched on all topics mentioned in Gitaji and has covered them in depth in all his various works (such as Chatuh Shloki) and siddhants. More specifically, he has always directed his teachings towards practically implementing these into one's life.
All these are cross-cutting subjects and they can be referenced in various works by Mahaprabhuji as well as Shri Gusainji, Shri Hariraiji and others in the same line. _________________ Best Wishes

Jai Shri Krishna,
Sitalji you have raised an interesting query
Perhaps we could request Pushtidasji or Vasantji to start a new thread in the forum on Chatuh Shloki and elaborate on this wonderful topic.
However to summarise and link the points between Chatuh Shloki and Gitaji the following can be said...
Chatuh = four
Shloki = verses/shlokas
Mahabrabhuji's Chatuh Shloki was written by him for (someone ?) and it references Vratrasur's Chatuh Shloki (who was this vratrasur ? and where do we find his story ?).
In Chatuh Shloki each of the four verses refer to the main aspects of living with devotion (specifically for a Pustimargi soul), which also links into the various sections of Gitaji, namely... Karm-Yog, Gyan-Yog, Bhakti-Yog, Dharm, Arth, Kaam, Moksh) and how they apply to us in Pushtimarg. Likewise the following four lines might ring a bell ... though I may not have been able to type them properly, so we welcome corrections...
Ekam Shastram Devaki Putra Gitam
Eko Devo Devaki Putra Eva
Eko Mantrasya Tasya Naamani Yaani
Karm-aap Ekam Tasya Devasya Seva
I think, and i could be wrong here... it is said that these words were written by Shri Jagannathji, in Jagannath Puri (Orissa) ... _________________ Best Wishes

Jai Shri Krishna,
Sitalji, no need for sorries and furthermore one should always ask questions and me inquisitive/curious... how when where why as without asking questions one does not find out...
lines from Shri Mahaprabhuji's Chatuh Shloki were posted in other posts by Pushtidasji. I think there should be a new thread on Chatuh Shloki rather than mixing it here with Bhagvad Gita.
I think, the words go something like this... and is in sanskrit/samskrit and we hope that the more experienced amongst us will help to correct any errors and elaborate further on the meaning of these words.... (word by word)
Sarvada Sarva bhavena, Bhajaniyo Vraj-adhipah
Sva-Syaayam-eva Dharmohi Nanyah Kvapi Kadachanah
Evam Sada Sma-Kartavyam, Svayam-Eva Karishyati
Prabhu-hu Sarva Samarthohi, Tato Nischin-ta-taam Vrajet
Yadi Shri Gokuladhisho, Dhrutaha Sarvatmanaa Hradi
Tatah Kim Param Bruhi, Lauki-kair Vaidi-kair Api
Atah Sarvatmanah Shashvad, Gokuleshwar Padayoh
Smaranam Bhajanam Chapi, Na Tyajyam iti-me Matih _________________ Best Wishes
