To my limited understanding as per Shri Mahaprabhuji In our Vallabhia Pushtimarg, all vaishnavs should do all ekadasi and four jayantis (celebrate goon avatars). as follows

1. Ram Navami
2. Nurshi Jayanti
3. Janmashtami
4. Vaman Dwadashi

Pushti Meaning

This incarnation is for upliftment of the devotees. (Bhaktoddhararth). As it seems Baliraja took the form of Indra & incarnated to deceit. But Atmanivedan bhakti appeared from Baliraja. Therefore, God incarnated for devotees. This is the belief of this Utsav.

(Prabhu took the avtar of a dwarf to do the uddhar of Bali Raja as Nrusihji took avtar in order to do Prahladji's Rakha. On Bhadarva Sud Baras, in Pushti Margiya Havelis after Rajbhog is taken, panchamrut snaan (snaan with five amrits:milk, ghee, curd, sugar and honey) of Shaligramji is done. On the day thakurji is offered: kirit mukut, dhoti uparna and matsyakrut kundal.Today thakurji is offerd two janoi's with the bhav of the bhraman swaroop shriji took. A gold and a pearl janoi is offered. Baliraja offered his head for thakurji's head for the third step (first thakurji took the earth and second thakurji took the universe))

Vastra – Saffron. Five pairs of saffron kulhe are offered. Abhran of diamonds are offered. Abhyang is done to Thakorji. Birth takes place after lifting of Rajbhog. Shri Thakorji is offered bath with Panchamrut & Tilak is applied to Thakorji.

Jai Shri Krishna,

In pushtimarg we ususally use the word KIRTAN. These kirtans have lila bhav in them and were sung mostly by Ashta Sakha and tadave vaishnavs describing the Lilas they were actually seeing/observing while singing.

I am not an expert in translation but will try my best.

Bali Raja ko samarphan sacho (Surrendership with total dedication of King Bali is true with pure heart)

Bhahut kahyo Guru Shukdevta mun dhud Aap nahi kacho-------(1)

(His Guru Shuklacharya informed him (Bali) that the person asking for Dan is Lord Vishnu disguised as dwarf Vaman but still he did not pay attention but kept his mind firm to keep his promise.)

Yej karat hai jaa-ke karan so-o Prabhu Aapun jachio

(Bali informs that he is doing Yagna to please God and if Lord Vishnu (God) himself is come to my door for Dan then what else do I need as everything belongs to HIM)

Parmanand Prabhu prasun bhaye Hari jo- jun ko janat hai sanchio

(So says Parmanand that God is so pleased for his devotee Bali raja who kept his promise (by being honest) even while loosing everything including surrendering himself (along with body and soul))
