Jai Shri Krishna,
This is a very nice pada by Raskhanji hope you all understand it so can answer simple questions at the end to get its deep meaning.
Well here it goes------
Manusha haun tau vahi Rasakhani basaum Braja Gokula ganva ke gwarana!
Jo pusu haun to kaha basu mero charan nita Nanda ke dhenu manjharana!
Pahana haun to vahi giri ko jo dharyau kara chhatra Purandara karana!
Jo khaga haun to basero karaun mili kalindi-kula-Kadamba ki darana!
Questions ready !
Well little summary or is it clues I should say for you Inaxibhen, Anjubhen, Trushnabhen, Nirupabhen,Sunitaji,Kavitabhen and all other bhavik vaishnavs .
Rasakhana was an ardent devotee of lord Shri Krishna. He did not wish to have salvation as a reward of his devotion. He loved Shri Krishna beyond all and always wished to live with the Lord with his body and mind.
In this pada he therefore expresses his intense yearning to be closely associated with those things which are very dear to Thakurji Shri krishna. So he keenly desires that in every life to come he may be born differently but must be associated with the Lord.
So now can some one describe his wishes expressed in this pada? _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Vasantji, a challenge I love but a contest I shy away from. This will be second gift you owe me as I am going to decypher the first stanza, ere yaar pankati to you Nirupaji, ahem...
The first Pankati or stanza is:
Manusha haun tau vahi Rasakhani basaum Braja Gokula ganva ke gwarana!
So Manusha means Human,Haun tau means if I was, vahi means there, Rasakhani is the name of the poet, that is himself, bassum means reside in, Braja mean the Vraj and Gokul mean the Gokul Village.
So Adminji, I think Raskahnji is saying:
If I come as a human, o Raskhani, then Iwould like to be the resident of Gokul Village which is in Vraj. See even Raskhanji agrees with me, he thinks I deserve a pat on the back and a lovely gift from Vasntji. Well adminji don't hide behind your other half as I can see you clearly.... _________________ Jai Shree Krishna

Jai Shri Krishna,
Dear vallabhi vaishnavs you all are doing sooooooo gooooood thought I will join in with you I love it. Inaxibhen, Vasantji does not hide it is me as I feel a lot shy oops I had to open my mouth again sorry Vasantji.
The first stanza clearly says that
Should I, Rasakhana, be born a man, may I live in Braja with the cowmen of the village Gokul
Well let me try the second one now
Jo pusu (animal) haun to kaha basu mero charan nita Nanda ke dhenu manjharana! (Cows of Nanda)
If I be an animal, oh, what control have I over it
may I always graze amidst the cows of Nanda.
Now Presidentji if You think I qualify for a gift then please do so will give my mailing address as Vasantji says he is powerless and you have the control. _________________ Sunita Punjabi

Jai Shri Krishna,
Pushtidasji before we get trapped lets judge following
Kavitabhen got 50% but could not elaborate while Inaxibhen and Sunitaji did elaborate and explained it well but the answer is still incomplete.
Hope finished the balance sheet of this year as we should be in credit balance so once you give me the figures we should start the gift system.
Ok vaishanvs what about the balance half of the above question. _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Sunitaji, this is what we call as Hamurabi's Law, tick for a tack, or is it eye for an eye.
Well you and Inaxiji are doing really fine. As far as the gift is concern, satsang is the best gift ever for ardent vallabhi like you and Inaxiji.
may I suggest that you wrap Vasantji in a lovely expensive parcel and redirect him to your home address and wallah..that is your gift and I suggest that Inaxiji does same with her husband. _________________ Dasa nu das

Jai Shri Krishna,
Vasantji, time for more hints as if I try without it then it will not be perfect and you know Pushtidasji he is going to laugh.
I can try the third one as Giri means Goverdhan mountain and chhatra means umbrella etc so could you tell us the english word for Pahana then may be we can break the ice.
Thanks in advance. _________________ Sunita Punjabi

Jai Shri Krishna,
Here are the hints requested so we can understand further the Bhava behind this Pada by Raskhanji.
Third line Pahana (Pahan) means stone Ok
Also Purandara (Purandar) here Raskhanji is expressing about king of heavens hope you will guess it by now.
And here goes the last one Karana (Karan) means because of .
Good Luck. _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Jai Shri Krishna,
Thanks for the hint and now (sure) though difficult will make an attempt.
Pahana haun to vahi giri ko jo dharyau kara chhatra Purandara karana!
Pahana (stone)
So if I (Raskhanji) am a stone then I would like to be a part of Goverdhan (giri) Chatra is umbrella and Purandar is king of heaven so Indra???
Let me try now
Should I (Raskhanji) be a stone, then of that very mountain (Goverdhan) which Shri KRishna held on his hand like an umbrella because of Indra?
Well how am I doing ? I think I deserve a pat on my back _________________ Sunita Punjabi

Jai Shri Krishna,
Yes Sunitaji, you got the third one but did you open my diary?
Well last one
Jo khaga haun to basero karaun mili kalindi-kula-Kadamba ki darana!
Khaga means in english Bird , Basero means to live (stay)
Will this be enough for clues or need more? _________________ Vasant Punjabi.

Jai Shri Krishna,
Dear Vallabhi Vaishnavs this has been long so I did the act of "Hoshiari" not chori am I right Inaxibhen?
Vasantji has just stepped out leaving his book on the desk and well here is the answer we all have been waiting for.
"Jo khaga haun to basero karaun mili kalindi-kula-Kadamba ki darana! "
Khaga means bird, besero means to stay or live, well kalindi is the name of Shri Yamuna Maharani, and Kadamba is the name of the tree .
So here it goes.
" If I be a bird then may I (Rasakhana) make my dwelling on the branch of Kadambha on the Yamuna bank."
(in short be a bird so as to dwell on the branch of kadamba tree on the bank of the river Yamuna )
Ok vaishnavs be ready to protect me if I get in any trouble now including Anjubhen. _________________ Sunita Punjabi
